AccuTite™ in El Paso

Signs of facial aging around the eyes and mouth as well as in the jawline and neck can significantly age your appearance. Stubborn body fat and skin laxity can be discouraging for those who are close to their fitness goals but unable to tone and tighten small areas. Diet and exercise can improve your health and appearance, but they cannot address loose skin, wrinkles, and sagging, and they are especially ineffective for targeting specific, small areas of the face and body.

For those who want to rejuvenate their face and body without going under the knife, AccuTite™ offers precise fat reduction and skin contraction. This minimally invasive face and body contouring procedure uses radiofrequency technology to tighten and tone the skin while reducing fat in hard-to-reach areas.

What Is Discussed During My AccuTite™ Consultation?

Your consultation is important to determine your candidacy and discuss your treatment plan. During your consultation, Dr. Agullo will:

  • Take measurements and photos
  • Evaluate your skin condition
  • Discuss your goals and expectations
  • Create a treatment plan
  • Explain how to prepare for your AccuTite™ procedure

Your consultation is the best time to ask any questions that you might have about the procedure. For example, if you have any specific health concerns, be sure to bring them up. If you would like to combine AccuTite™ with another procedure, your consultation is the best time to determine if that would be possible.

What Is the AccuTite™ Procedure Like?

AccuTite™ uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to melt away stubborn fat cells and tighten the skin.

First, the target area is numbed with a local anesthetic to ensure your comfort during the procedure. A small, needle-like probe is then inserted into the skin, and radiofrequency energy is emitted from the probe to an electrode outside of the skin. The device is moved along the treatment area to liquefy the fat and stimulate the skin to contract.

How Should I Prepare for AccuTite™ Treatment?

It is important to note that AccuTite™ cannot be used for weight loss or to replace a healthy lifestyle. It is best to be as close to your ideal weight as possible before your procedure because AccuTite™ is most effective at tightening the skin and will remove only small amounts of fat.

To prepare for your AccuTite™ procedure, you may be advised to:

  • Not smoke
  • Not drink alcohol
  • Avoid certain medications
  • Discuss any and all concerns with your surgeon

It is also beneficial to get a good amount of rest and stay hydrated leading up to your procedure, as that can aid in the healing process afterward.

At Agullo Plastic Surgery, tailored care begins with a full consultation to discuss the goals and options available.

AccuTite™ FAQs

Can I combine AccuTite™ with other procedures?

Yes, AccuTite™ can be combined with other procedures. Most commonly, it is combined with fat graft injections, fillers, radiofrequency microneedling (Morpheus8), or thread lifting. To find out if your ideal combination of treatments is possible, ask your surgeon. Some procedures may complement each other well but need to be performed at separate times. Your surgeon will be able to tell you what plan would be best for you.

How does AccuTite™ differ from BodyTite™ and FaceTite™?

AccuTite™, BodyTite™, and FaceTite™ use the same technology: radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis. They all work well to reduce fat and tighten skin, but AccuTite™ is designed specifically for addressing smaller areas like the neck, lower face, hands, and upper arms.

Will I need to have follow-up appointments after having AccuTite™?

Most patients only need one session to achieve their desired results. Results can usually be maintained with a consistent healthy diet and exercise. AccuTite™ may be used more than once, but follow-up appointments should not be necessary.

Is AccuTite™ safe?

AccuTite™ has been cleared by the FDA and is safe to use for face and body contouring. Built-in technology controls the temperature to make sure that a safe level of energy is being used.
