September 18, 2026 | Brazilian Butt Lift, Cost and Financing

My BBL price is on my website. Most surgeons will not do that. A published number invites a comparison, and the comparison is usually with someone cheaper.
I publish anyway. So the question I get is not “how much” but “why is my quote higher than the number on your page?”
Fair question. Here is the answer.
What does a BBL cost right now?
Dr. Agullo: “As of this writing, the Brazilian Butt Lift starts at $11,500, with an additional $2,000 per extra liposuction site. A BBL with buttock implants starts at $14,500, and the Supercharged BBL starts at $20,500. Fees are kept current at agulloplasticsurgery.com/fees.”
The Published Numbers
Our published fees as of September 2026, from the fees page. Starting prices, all of them.
| Procedure | Starting fee | What the line covers |
|---|---|---|
| Brazilian butt lift | $11,500 | Fat transfer to the buttock, including one liposuction site |
| Each additional liposuction site | $2,000 | Per site beyond the first |
| Buttock implants | $14,500 | Intramuscular implants, no fat transfer |
| Supercharged BBL | $20,500 | Implants plus fat injections in one operation |
| Buttock lift | $10,500+ | Skin excision and lift, for laxity rather than volume |
| Body fat transfer | $10,500 | Fat transfer to areas other than the buttock |
Look at the second line. “Includes one lipo site” is doing a lot of work in that table, and it explains most of the gap between the page and the quote.
All-Inclusive Means All-Inclusive
The number is the whole operation. Surgical facility. Anesthesia. Garments. Vitamins. Post-scar care. You pay for one thing on your own, and that is picking up your prescriptions at the pharmacy.
Most quotes you will see elsewhere are a surgeon’s fee. The facility and the anesthesiologist get billed on top, sometimes after the deposit. So when you compare two BBL prices, the first thing to ask is what each one leaves out.
Why a Quote Climbs Above $11,500
One lipo site is in the fee. Almost nobody wants one. Most patients want several areas done, both for the fat it gives me and for the waist it leaves behind. Each site after the first is $2,000. Three sites, $15,500, before anything else.
Then there is skin. Lipo takes volume out. Stretched skin does not always shrink back.
What pushes a BBL quote above the starting number?
Dr. Agullo: “A lot of times, we will combine liposuction with skin tightening using BodyTite and/or Renuvion J-Plasma. These are charged per site and can increase the overall cost of the procedure. Also, for lengthier procedures, depending on each person, or if they have had liposuction before, it may increase the operative time, which increases the cost of the OR and anesthesia. Sometimes we will use VASER liposuction to break up scar tissue at previous liposuction sites, and this can increase time spent in the OR.”
So the drivers, in plain terms:
- More liposuction sites. $2,000 each beyond the first.
- Skin tightening per site. BodyTite or Renuvion J-Plasma, charged for each site it is used on.
- Longer operating time. Some bodies simply take longer, and the OR and anesthesia are billed by time.
- Prior liposuction. Scar tissue from an earlier surgery slows the harvest, and VASER to break it up adds OR time.
If you have had lipo before, tell me at the consult. It changes the plan and it changes the number, and I would rather you hear that from me than find it on the estimate.
The Cheaper Quote
Patients bring me quotes for a fraction of my fee, from across the border or from another state. I do not dismiss them. I explain them.
How do you answer a patient who has a much cheaper quote from abroad?
Dr. Agullo: “In general, medicine is less expensive outside of the United States. The cost of the OR and anesthesia is lower, and salaries for staff and supplies are lower. But in my experience, the very good surgeons from abroad, and I know many of them, charge very close to top surgeons in the United States. So when you see a really low fee, it is probably a surgeon that is not as busy as they would like, and they have to lower prices to attract patients. They may be shortcutting some parts of the procedure. They may not be using the best equipment and the latest technologies, and they may not be using the best fat preservation techniques, soaps, and preparation. Some of these facilities may not be using ultrasound for increased safety.”
That last line is the one I care about most. I wrote a whole post on why ultrasound guidance is the thing that made this operation safe, so I will not repeat it here. A quote that leaves it out is not a bargain.
And the cheap quote is not always foreign.
Dr. Agullo: “I would also add that sometimes these kinds of prices are actually offered right here in the United States, often in clinics that do very high volumes. These are very common in Florida, for example. A lot of times, we are not sure who is performing the procedure, whether it is a board-certified plastic surgeon or a physician from another specialty. And often the recovery and follow-up are cut down, as these surgeons only come in to perform the procedure, and then the clinic is the one that continues the follow-up.
“In short, if a price seems too good to be true, it usually is.”
Which Line Is Yours
The BBL uses your own fat, so you need enough to harvest. If you are lean and want projection, implants are usually the route, and I place them inside the muscle for reasons I explain in the conversion post. The Supercharged BBL is both at once, implant for projection and fat for shape, which is why it carries the highest starting fee.
What this post does not cover, on purpose, because I have already written it:
- Recovery, week by week: BBL recovery timeline
- How much fat survives and why: Fat Transfer 101
- Taking a BBL down: BBL reversal
- Taking implants out: buttock implant removal
One caveat on all of it. Revision work, whether it is fixing someone else’s BBL or converting implants to fat, runs higher than these starting fees and is less predictable, because the scar tissue and the time are unknown until I am in there. The revision page covers what that involves.

Ready to Talk?
The fees above are where the conversation starts. How many sites, whether your skin needs tightening, and whether you have had liposuction before all move the number, so an exact quote can only be provided after a consultation.
